<br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />COUf1TY OF ALAMEDA <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA <br />MINUTES <br />December 7, 1961 <br /> <br />The regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning Commission was called to order <br />by the Chairman Ralph Mitchell, at 8:00 p.m. on the above date. <br />ROLL CALL showed px•esent; Co~mnissioners Antonini, Rega and Mitchell. Absent: <br />Commissioners Tendon and Lozano. ~cofficio Coxranissioners Present: Dana. Absent: <br />Hohn, Ramp and King. <br />On motion of Commissioner Antonini, seconded by Commissioner Rega and approved by <br />all Commissioners present the minutes of November 16, 1961 were approved as <br />forwarded. ' <br />Secretary Fales stated that the Public Hearing date on the Proposed Amendments <br />oP Ordinance 309, Zoning Ordinance, regarding blast and fallout shelters, was <br />set up to December 21, 1961 because of insufficient time to publish in the paper. <br />On motion of Commissioner Rega, seconded by Commissioner Antonini, and approved <br />by all Commissioners present, the date of December 21, 1961 was set for the <br />Public Hearing on application of Clyde Potvin to expand his trailer court. <br />Opal Wedrich then came before the Corrmxission with her application for a Zoning <br />Permit to make flower arrangements, for sales purposes; in her home. On motion <br />of Commissioner Antonini, seconded by Commissioner Rega snd approved by all <br />Commissioners present RESOLUTION N0. 160 was adopted. <br />RESOLUTION N0. 160 <br />Whereas, the application of Opal Wedrich, 415 Abbie Street, Pleasanton, <br />for a Zoning Permit to make flower arrangements in her home, having come before <br />the Commission December 7, 1961, under Ordinance No. 309, as amended, the Plan- <br />ning Commission does hereby resolve as Pollowa: <br />I. The Planting Commission does find as follows: <br />e. Notice has been given as required by law. <br />b. The Circumstances required b~ Section 19.1003 of said Ordinance <br />do exist. <br />2. Tha Zoning Permit is hereby granted. <br />3. A copy of this Resolution shall be sent to interested parties. <br />A communication from the County Planning Commission regarding an Application <br />of Frank Jans 3862 Santa Rita Road, A-2 zone, to operate a warehouse and whole- <br />sale business of surplus government materials was read by Secretary Fales. Sec- <br />retary Fales was instructed to write to the County Planning Commission as follows: <br />After consideration of the County referral, the Pleasanton Planing Commission <br />recommends approval 02' this proposed use, with the provision, however, that no new <br />building oP s commercial type be constructed upon this property, and that no mayor <br />modifications or additions, in which the operation is to be conducted, be made. <br />Moved by Commmissioner Rega, seconded by Coummiasioner Mitchell and approved by all <br />Commissioners present. <br />Secretary Fales presented the Expanded General Plan Land Use Map to the Commission <br />and stated that it would be shown to the Valley Community Services District next. <br />On motion of Commissioner Mitchell, seconded by Commissioner Rega and approved by <br />all Commissiox~•s present, the meeting was ad,~ourned at 8:30 p.m. to meet again <br />on December 21, 1961 at 8:00 p.m. <br />Secretary <br />
