M I N U T E S OF THE MEETING OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION Pleansanton, California March 1, 1962 The regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning Commission was called to order by Vice-Chairman Philip Landon, in the absence of Chairman Mitchell, on March 1, 1962 at 8;00 P.M. ROLL CALL showed the following: Present: Commissioners Iandon Lozano Raga Ex-Officio Dana 6ecretary Fales On motion of Commissioner Rega, seconded by Commissioner Lozano, the minutes of the meeting of February 15, 1962 were approved as read. The Publie Hearing on the application of Wanda Glaser, 411 Division Street, for a Variance from Section 6.5 of Ordinance No. 309 wen opened by Vice-Chairman Landon. Mr. C. Beratlis, representing Mra. Clasen, presented a letter to the Commission withdrawing the application, and requested a refund of the fees. Mr. Struthers, City Attorney, advised that the $10.00 Pee For application Por a Variance is not returnable. On motion of Commissioner Rega, seconded by Commissioner Landon, the Commission unanimously approved the withdrawal of the application without prejudice. The Commission then set public hearings from interim zoninrjto official zoning as follows: Annex No. 14 -Adams Court South - April 5, 1962 Annex No. 15 -High School Annex -April 5, 1962 Annex No. 16 - Valley View Annex'- April 19, 1962 Annex No. 19 - Pleasanton-Suaol -April 19, 1962 For the information of the Commission, Mr. Fales stated that he had received a response from Dial Associates, Inc. regarding the chicken processing plant, but it was not detailed enough and he is planning to write again regarding this particular business and what it entails before giving the Disl people a definite answer with respect to zoning. Mr. Falea also made mention of the planned ,joint study session with the City Council which is to take place at 8:00 P.M. on March 8, 1962.
