As you know, this approach worked well for the ~enovations to the 123 Main and 200 Old Bernal buildings, the computer room addition to the police building, and the renovations to the Amador Theater. The bids for these projects were very competitive for those portions of the work. The work does not include the following: 1. Topo and survey. 2. Civil engineering and drainage (if parking is added or outdoor play area requires new drainage). 3. Utility relocation. 4. Extensive re-design of exterior over and above that required to implement the interior design. 5. Acoustical studies. 6. Structural upgrade. 7. Interior design over and above paint/wall covering and carpet/floor covering selections. Furniture and furnishing selections shall be an extra service. 8. Playground equipment design. We will provide services for the selection and specification of pre-designed equipment. In addition to the above fee, we shall be reimbursed for our out-of-pocket expenses; i.e., printing (outside printing, add 10% service charge), postage, long distance telephone calls and travel over fifty (50) miles round trip ~rom our office. Revisions to plans and elevation after your approval and start of construction documents shall be invoiced at our normal hourly rates.
