2. Improvements in the public right-of-way, including atrent, <br />curb, gutters, driveways, sanitary sewer, water and dxaia- <br />age facilities, be installed to the satisfaction of the <br />Citq Engineer. <br />3. A row of evergreen trees be planted along the western and <br />southern boundaries of the site. <br />4. A four-foot fence be erected around the swimming pool area <br />ae indicated on the site plea. <br />The following communications were read by Secretary Faleas <br />From Mr. Jacobsen, Homerite Conatsuction Co., Redwood Road, Castro Valley, <br />who would like to meet with the Planning Commission at the meeting of <br />February 7, in connection with the Lassen Tract. <br />From John J. Amaral, Secretary-Manager, Pleasanton Chamber of Cosmerce, <br />an iuvitation to attend a tour of Zone 7 facilities, Thursday, January 31. <br />From Roger Lee, President, East Bay Chapter, The American Institute of <br />Architects, as invitation to a dinner meeting idedneaday, January 30. <br />From Robert L. 41111iame, Alameda County Planning Director, enclosing a <br />map of Tract 2405, Permabilt Tract northerly of Highwaq 50 and westerly <br />of Dublin Boulevard. it was decided to inform Mr. Williams that the <br />Commission will reserve comment since the area is outside the Pleasanton <br />planning area. <br />From Alan F. Grant, Zoning Administrator of Alameda County Plaaaing De• <br />partment, regarding the application of Mr. Carl C. Shockley, SE of 81 <br />Castlewood Drive, to divide hie original lot (slightly over one acre) <br />into four lots, one having reduced average width and reduced sear yard. <br />After discussion by the Commission, it Ives moved by Chairman Landon, <br />seconded by Commissioner P.ega, and carried, that the staff be instructed <br />to inform the County Planniug Commdeaion of Pieasanton's standards for <br />an R-E District. <br />Secretary Fales then formally introduced Pleaeantoa'e newly appointed City Engineer <br />Alan 8. Campbell to the Commission. <br />There being no further business to come before the Co~iasion, upon motion of Com- <br />miasioaer 4lipfii, seconded by Commissioner Lozano, the meeting was adjourned at <br />11:02 P.M., to meet again on Thursday, February 7, 1963, at 8:00 P.M. <br />
