CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-202 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE <br /> DECLARATION FOR GOLDEN EAGLE FARMS AS <br /> FILED UNDER CASE PUD-85-15-1M <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Golden Eagle Farms has applied for a major <br /> modification to an approved development plan for a <br /> 210-unit residential project to allow for a special <br /> events/conference center to be established at the <br /> facility approved for a clubhouse (Bernal Adobe) to <br /> be located at 1780 Foothill Road; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit <br /> Development) - Low Density Residential District; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of May 2, 1989, the City Council <br /> received a proposed negative declaration for <br /> PUD-85-15-1M; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the <br /> Initial Study dated March 17, 1989 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning <br /> Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held May 2, 1989 <br /> at which time the public was given the opportunity <br /> to comment on the environmental impacts of the <br /> proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential <br /> impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br /> local guidelines governing the preparation of <br /> Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact <br /> Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposal would not <br /> have any significant adverse effects on the <br /> environment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for Case <br /> PUD-85-15-1M, the application of Golden Eagle Farms <br /> for a major modification to an approved development <br /> plan for a 210-unit residential project to 'allow <br /> for a special events/conference center to be <br /> <br /> <br />
