CITY COUNCIL CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 89-201 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR FAR WEST ASSOCIATES AS FILED UNDER CASE PUD-89-1 WHEREAS, Far West Associates applied for development plan approval to construct a 138 unit residential project and related improvements to be located on an approximately 20 acre site located easterly of the terminus of Stoneridge Drive; WHEREAS, in response to concerns from the surrounding community, the developer reduced his proposal to 124 residential units; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of March 22, 1989, the City Council received a proposed negative declaration for PUD-89-1; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated March 6, 1989 and received the recommendations of the staff; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held on May 2, 1989 at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposal would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for Case PUD-89-1, the application of Far West Associates for development plan approval to construct a 124-unit residential project and related improvements to be located on an approximately 20 acre site located easterly of the terminus of Stoneridge Drive.
