City Building Inspector has indicated the proposed sign will comply with the re- <br />quirements of the Uniform Building Code, and a building permit and electrical permit <br />axe required. The staff recommends approval of the subject Zoning Permit. After <br />discussion by the Conmmieaion, upon motion of Commissioner Lozano, seconded by Com- <br />missioner Antonini, the following resolution was unanimously adopted by those Cosy <br />miasionera presents <br />RESOLUTION N0. 266 <br />WHEREAS, the application of Arrow Neon, 1023 - 45th Avenue, Oakland, <br />for a Zoning Permit in order to install a 4'x6' non-flashing <br />electric plastic sign at 728 Main St. in a C-C District, has come <br />before this Commission; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT <br />RESOLVED, that the City of Pleasanton Planning Commission dose hereby <br />grant said Zoning Permit with the following condition: <br />1. A building permit and electrical permit moat be secured <br />for said sign. <br />Secretary Fales read an announcement from the University of California Extension <br />Division regarding a abort course for City and County Planning Commissioners to be <br />held in San Francisco on Thursday and Friday, May 7-8, 1964. Mr. False said it <br />would be very valuable for the Planning Commission to attend and recommends it <br />highly. The enrollment fee is $20.00, and the City will pay expenses of those <br />Commissioners attending. A detailed program and application forms will be distri- <br />buted at a later date, according to the announcement. <br />There being no further business to come before the Commission, upon motion of Com- <br />missioner Antonini, seconded by Commissioner Rega, the meeting was adjourned at <br />8:37 P.M., to meet again on Thursday, February 13, 1964, at 8:00 P.M. <br />
