Mr. Fairfield added there would be a transition from large to smaller to large lots <br />in the tract. Mr. Fales inquired ae to the amount of open space is the combined <br />park and greenway areas that is actually gable. Mr. Fairfield proceeded to point <br />out these areas on the map. <br />Mr. Fales stated that he was concerned about the traffic carrying capacity of the <br />direct frontage of Pine Avenue which is proposed to continue from Livermore to <br />Highway 680. Mr, Fairfield said he understood it would not take the place of the <br />freeway and would be for local traffic only. Mz. Falea said that it was hie undes- <br />etanding that Livingston and Blayney are proposing changes in the traffic pattern. <br />Considerable discussion ensued between Mr. Oakes and Mr. Fa lea with regard to <br />traffic pattern. Mr. Fairfield then described the proposed location of schools. <br />Mr. Falea and Mr. Fairfield discussed the possibility of zoning the areas of multi- <br />ple dwelling unite as RG without specifically designating density, or zoning them <br />RG-25 and later the developer could apply fora Planned Unit Development. Mr. <br />Struthers recommended this be done by amendment. After further discussion by the <br />Commission, upon motion of Commissioner Johnston, seconded by Commissioner Lozano, <br />the following resolution was adopted by unanimous vote of those Commissioners <br />present: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 353 <br />RESOLVED: <br />The City of Pleasanton Planning Commission does hereby <br />recommend to the City Council amendment of Ordinance No. <br />309 in order to provide zoning districts to the area <br />included in Annexation No. 32, Roee Annex, ae follows: <br />1. For the area of Tract No. 2639: From the A <br />(Agriculture) District to the R-1, C-N, C-T <br />and RG-25 Districts, as indicated on the re- <br />vised Preliminary Subdivision Map. <br />There being no further buaineea to come before the Commission, upon motion of <br />Commissioner Lozano, seconded by Commissioner Antonini, and carried, the meeting <br />was adjourned at 11:30 P.M., to meet again on Wednesday, October 28, 1964, at 8 P.M. <br />
