The applicable conditions of all other City ordinances, <br />rules and regulations moat be met. <br />Mr. Fates read a Letter from I4acKay & Sampe, dated March 10, 1965, requesting a <br />one-year time extension for the Tentative Subdivision Map for Tract No. 2573, Mission <br />Park Unit ~~5. The staff recommends granting the subject time extension. After con- <br />aideraLion by the Commission, upon motion of Commissioner Lozano, seconded by Com- <br />misaioner Antonini, the following xeaolution was adopted by unanimous vote; <br />RESOLUTION N0. 411 <br />RESOLVED: <br />The City Planning Commission hereby recommends to the City <br />Council that a one-year time extension from April 8, 1965, <br />to April 8, 1966, for Tentative Subdivision Map, Tract No. <br />2573, Mission Park Unit $5, be granted, <br />The next item on the agenda was a consideration of Tentative Subdivision Map, Tract <br />No. 2724 (Schulte-Blackwell). Chairman Landon called upon Mr. Campbell foz the City <br />Engineer's report on the subject map. Mr. Campbell explained that since the tract <br />lies within the boundaries of propcsed Annexation No. 24 which ie tied up in a <br />legal dispute at this time, the property ie to be developed under the control of <br />Alameda County but to City of Pleaeanton'e standards. Mr. Campbell proceeded to <br />enumerate the City's recommended modifications with regard to street geometrica, <br />street namee, structural design of streets, specifications and Standard Details, <br />sanitary sewer, water supply and distribution, and storm drainage systems, electric <br />power distribution, street lighting and telephone service system and easements.. <br />Mr. Ted Fairfield spoke on behalf of the developers, and discussed with the staff <br />and Commission the Incorporation of the City's recommendations. Mr. Pales auggaeted <br />a variation of the lot lines at the rear of lots on Foothill Road in order to <br />eliminate a straight row of fences. After considerable discussion by the Commission, <br />upon motion of Chairman Landon, seconded by Commissioner Lozano, the following reso- <br />lution was adopted by unanimous vote: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 41'L <br />RESOLVED: <br />The City Planning Commission hereby recommends to the City <br />Council approval of the Tentative Subdivision Map for Tract <br />No. 2724 with modifications outlined in the City Engineer's <br />Report dated March 24, 1965, and including the following <br />additions, and that these recommendations be submitted to <br />the Alameda County Planning Commission: <br />1. The City's Subdivision Ordinance would require 20 feet <br />of paving on the north aide of Pine Avenue. <br />2. The City would prefer to "jog" Che rear of lots backing <br />to Foothill Road es much as 3 to 5 feet, keeping in <br />mind the terrain, in order to off-set the rear fences <br />along Foothill Road, which would otherwise be in a straight <br />line. <br />3. The street section proposed fo:. Foothill Road ie in <br />conformity with the City's Subdivision Ordinance. <br />At 9:30 P.M. Chairman Landon adjourned the meeting to a joint study session with the <br />City Council regarding the General Plan. <br />Chairman Landon reconvened the meeting at 11 P.M. There being no further bueinees <br />to come before the Commission, the meeting was adjourned to meet again on Wedaeaday, <br />April 14, 1965, at 8:00 P.M. <br />
