CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-525 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVINGRECOMMENDATIONS OF <br /> THE AFFORDABLE HOUSING TASK FORCE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 12, 1989, the City <br /> Council reviewed a memorandum from the Affordable <br /> Housing Task Force which included various <br /> recommendations; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council agrees to "reserve" the city- <br /> owned 14 acre parcel on Sunol Boulevard for future <br /> consideration as a potential site for affordable <br /> housing. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Affordable Housing Task Force shall remain in <br /> place to work on development of a specific <br /> affordable housing project on the 14 acre site and <br /> to assist with the revision of the Housing Element <br /> of the General Plan. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON, AT A MEETING HELD ON DECEMBER 12, 1989 BY THE <br />FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmember Brandes <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Peg~d/LJ[zidr~ <br /> Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />Michael H.
