CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-522 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE <br /> DECLARATION FOR AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND <br /> USE ELRMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN CHANGING <br /> THE DESIGNATION OF A 4.37 ACRE SITE <br /> LOCATED AT 2503 VINEYARD AVENUE FROM THE <br /> "AGRICULTURAL AND GRAZING" TO THE "LOW <br /> DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" DESIGNATION <br /> (GP-89-6) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 12, 1989, the City <br /> Council received a proposed negative declaration <br /> for an amendment to the Land Use Element <br /> designation of the General Plan for the <br /> approximately 4.37 acre site located at 2503 <br /> Vineyard Avenue to change from "Agricultural and <br /> Grazing" to the "Low Density Residential" <br /> designation; and <br /> <br />· WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the <br /> Initial Study dated November 21, 1989 and received <br /> the recommendations of the staff and Planning <br /> Commission; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br /> time the public was given the opportunity to <br /> comment on the environmental impacts of the <br /> proposed General Plan Amendment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential <br /> impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br /> local guidelines governing the preparation of <br /> Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact <br /> Reports; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed General <br /> Plan Amendment would not have any significant <br /> adverse effects on the environment; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for <br /> an amendment to the Land Use Element of the General <br /> Plan changing the designation of a 4.37 acre site <br /> located at 2503 Vineyard Avenue from the <br /> "Agricultural and Grazing" to the "Low Density <br /> Residential" designation (GP-89-6). <br /> <br /> <br />
