CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 89-522 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND USE ELRMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN CHANGING THE DESIGNATION OF A 4.37 ACRE SITE LOCATED AT 2503 VINEYARD AVENUE FROM THE "AGRICULTURAL AND GRAZING" TO THE "LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL" DESIGNATION (GP-89-6) WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 12, 1989, the City Council received a proposed negative declaration for an amendment to the Land Use Element designation of the General Plan for the approximately 4.37 acre site located at 2503 Vineyard Avenue to change from "Agricultural and Grazing" to the "Low Density Residential" designation; and · WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated November 21, 1989 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed General Plan Amendment; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed General Plan Amendment would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for an amendment to the Land Use Element of the General Plan changing the designation of a 4.37 acre site located at 2503 Vineyard Avenue from the "Agricultural and Grazing" to the "Low Density Residential" designation (GP-89-6).
