CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-509 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION IMPT.RMENTING COMMUNITY SERVICE <br /> OFFICERS TRAINING PAY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the police department is assigning responsibility <br /> for training new community service officers to <br /> experienced community service officers; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the city wishes to compensate these experienced <br /> community service officers for this added <br /> responsibility. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: Approves implementation of the following <br /> community service officer training pay policy: <br /> <br /> Community service officers assigned to train new <br /> community service officers as part of a formalized <br /> departmental training program shall be paid the sum <br /> of $4.60 for each full day they spend performing <br /> such training. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> January 1, 1990 upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON, AT A MEETING HELD ON DECEMBER 12, 1989, BY THE <br />FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />Michael H. Roush, City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
