<br />Mr. Campbell stated there would be no problem with traffic on Black Avenue
<br />if the apartments were approved.
<br />Upon motion of Chairman Antonini, seconded by Commissioner Arnold, the following

<br />recommendation to the City Council for rezoning

<br />setback; area. lighters 21 feet, 22 feet and 25 feet into the required front
<br />yard setback; at the southeast corner of Santa Rita Road and Stanley Blvd., or
<br />that property described in Book 23, page 23, parcels 6, 7, 8, and 9.

<br />Chairman Antonini opened the public hearing simultaneously on UP-67-21, applica-
<br />tion of Union Oil Company, for a Conditional Use Permit under Section 12.101,
<br />for the construction of a service station at the south-east corner of Santa
<br />Rita Road and Stanley Boulevard.

<br />Also considered by the Commission was Z-67-82, application of Union Oil Company,
<br />for a Zoning Permit to construct a service station at the southeast corner of
<br />Santa Rita Road and Stanley Boulevard.
<br />The Commission discussed with the applicant the possibility of a shake roof
<br />rather than the proposed metal shingles; also the use of a wood material rather
<br />than slump stone on the front of the building. After further discussion on
<br />the above items, upon the motion of Chairman Antonini, seconded by Commissioner
<br />Plato, the public hearings were closed. UPON MOTION OF CHAIRMAN ANTONINI,

<br />Chaixman Antonini opened the public hearing on the application of First
<br />Pleasanton Investors, 582 Market Street, San Francisco, for an extension of
<br />one year of the Conditional Use Permits for tract signs, located on the south-
<br />east corner of intersection of State Route 580 and Santa Rita Road, and south
<br />side of Route 580, east of Santa Rita Road, respectively. Mr. George Oakes
<br />concurred with the conditions of the staff report, and spoke briefly to the
<br />Commission supporting his request. Mr. Oakes stated the sign would be moved
<br />slightly from its present location. Upon motion of Chairman Antonini, seconded
<br />by Commissioner Garrigan, the public hearing was closed. Upon motion of Com-
