M I N U T E S <br />of <br />PLANNING COPII•IISSION <br />Pleasanton, California. <br />January 10, 1968 <br />The regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning Commission was called to order <br />at 8:03 P.M., Wednesday, January 1'), 1968, by Chairman Antonini. <br />ROLL CALL showed the following: <br />Present: Commissioner Garrigan <br />Plato <br />Chairman Antonini <br />Secretary Castro <br />Absent: Commissioner Arnold <br />Gibbs <br />Aooroval of Minutes: <br />UPON MOTION OF COMMISSIONER GARRIGAN, SECONDED BY COrS1ISSI0NER PLATO, THE <br />MINUTES OF DECEMBER 13, 1967, WERE APPROVED AS PRESENTED. <br />Sa. UP-67-23 Pleasanton Joint School District. <br />Chairman Antonini opened the public hearing on the application of Pleasanton <br />Joint School District fora Conditional Use Permit under Section 6.331 for <br />the construction of Middle School on Valley Avenue beRaeen Northway Road and <br />Greenwood Road. <br />6a. Z-67-85, Pleasanton Joint. School District. <br />It was decided to consider concurrently Z-67-85, application of Pleasanton school <br />District for a zoning permit with site plan approval, for construction of <br />Middle School, located on Valley Avenue between Northway Road and Greenwood <br />Road canprised of 80,000 square feet of building on a 22} acre site. After <br />reviewing the proposed plans, upon motion of Commissioner Garrigan, seconded <br />by Commnissioner Plato, the public heazing was closed. Upon motion of Commissioner <br />Garrigan, seconded by Commissioner Plato, the following revnluti.nn was adopted <br />by unanimous vote: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 742 <br />WHEREAS, the application of Pleasanton Joint School <br />District for a Conditional Use Permit, UP-67-23, <br />for construction of Middle School on Valley <br />Avenue between Northway Road and Greenwood <br />Road has come before this Commission, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT <br />RESOLVED: that the above application be approved subject <br />to the following conditions: <br />1. That the permit is granted for the land as <br />described in the application and any attach- <br />ment thereto, and as shown on the plot plan <br />submitted, labeled Exhibit A. <br />2. That the basketball courts shall be moved 10 <br />feet south and said area shall be landscaped <br />subject to the approval of the Planning <br />Director. <br />UPON MOTION OF COMMISSIONER GARRIGAN, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER PLATO, AND r.Aaaisn, <br />IT WAS DECIDED TO APPROVE THE ABOVE APPLI(•ATION FOR ZONING PERMIT, Z-67-85. <br />Sb.) RZ-67-16, Citv Council. <br />Chairman Antonini opened the public hearing on the application of the City Council <br />to rezone from RG-15 and RG-25 to R-2 those properties generally located north <br />of Black Avenue between Harvest Road and a point 420 feet more or less crest of <br />Crestline Road, further that parcel of land suggested as RG-15 on RZ-67-12, and <br />located generally at the north-east corner of the intersection of Hopyard Road <br />and Blast: Avenue.
