RESOLUTION N0. 753
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING TO ^1HE
CITY COUNCIL THE ADOPTION OF THE PROPOSED
ZONING ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton
has considered the proposed Zoning Ordinance,
WHEREAS, said Commission has held several public hearings
on the proposed Ordinance and has examined all
pertinent documents and articles and finds that
the following conditions do exist:
1. That the proposed Ordinance will not be
contrary to the spirit and intent of the
General Plan,
2. That the proposed Ordinance is in the public
interest and general welfare,
3. That the proposed Ordinance will create
a more equitable condition for the com-
munity than now prevails,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED: that the Planning Commission of the City of
Pleasanton hereby recommends to the City Council
the adoption of the proposed Zoning Ordinance
subject to certain changes as noted on the
attached list.
12. MATTERS FOR INFORMATION OF THE COMMISSION:
(a) Mr. Castro stated that the Zoning Permit with Planned Unit Development
approval for Black Avenue area will come before the Commission on February
14, 1968, in order to impose the conditions of the P.U.D.
(b) A request was made by Carl Hanson of Geldermann Realty Company for the
Commission's opinion on a proposed hospital, convalescence and medical center
to be located more or less at the intersection of Foothill Boulevard and
Santos Ranch Road. The Commission was not favorable to the proposal because
of the general area.. They suggested there were better areas for such a structure.
(c) Concerning the conversion of a garage into rooms, the Commission indicated
they steed with Mr. Castro's interpretation of additional car apace meaning
covered space in another area.
There being no further business to come before the Commission, upon motion
of CommissionerGarrigan, seconded by Commissioner Gibbs, and carried, the
meeting was adjourned at 10:50 P.M., to meet again on February 14, 1968.
_g_ 1-31-68
