RESOLUTION N0. 753 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING TO ^1HE <br />CITY COUNCIL THE ADOPTION OF THE PROPOSED <br />ZONING ORDINANCE. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton <br />has considered the proposed Zoning Ordinance, <br />WHEREAS, said Commission has held several public hearings <br />on the proposed Ordinance and has examined all <br />pertinent documents and articles and finds that <br />the following conditions do exist: <br />1. That the proposed Ordinance will not be <br />contrary to the spirit and intent of the <br />General Plan, <br />2. That the proposed Ordinance is in the public <br />interest and general welfare, <br />3. That the proposed Ordinance will create <br />a more equitable condition for the com- <br />munity than now prevails, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT <br />RESOLVED: that the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Pleasanton hereby recommends to the City Council <br />the adoption of the proposed Zoning Ordinance <br />subject to certain changes as noted on the <br />attached list. <br />12. MATTERS FOR INFORMATION OF THE COMMISSION: <br />(a) Mr. Castro stated that the Zoning Permit with Planned Unit Development <br />approval for Black Avenue area will come before the Commission on February <br />14, 1968, in order to impose the conditions of the P.U.D. <br />(b) A request was made by Carl Hanson of Geldermann Realty Company for the <br />Commission's opinion on a proposed hospital, convalescence and medical center <br />to be located more or less at the intersection of Foothill Boulevard and <br />Santos Ranch Road. The Commission was not favorable to the proposal because <br />of the general area.. They suggested there were better areas for such a structure. <br />(c) Concerning the conversion of a garage into rooms, the Commission indicated <br />they steed with Mr. Castro's interpretation of additional car apace meaning <br />covered space in another area. <br />There being no further business to come before the Commission, upon motion <br />of CommissionerGarrigan, seconded by Commissioner Gibbs, and carried, the <br />meeting was adjourned at 10:50 P.M., to meet again on February 14, 1968. <br />_g_ 1-31-68 <br />
