Mr. Castro read a letter from Mr. Bill Fraley of the County Planning <br />Commission, recommending that each City Planning Commission strongly urge <br />the legislature to enact Senate Bill 231 as amended to May 8, 1968, which <br />will extend the powers of the San Francisco Bay Conservation and Develop- <br />ment Commission for the duration of its existence. The Commission indicated <br />they supported the Senate Bill and asked Mr. Castro to forward a Resolution <br />to that effect. <br />d.) Lieht Fixtures. Valiev Trails <br />Mr. Castro presented a sketch of the luminaires proposed for the residential <br />area of the ®alley Trails Tract 3004. Mr. Castro noted that the yearly cost <br />to the City for maintaining the lights was higher than the cost of street <br />Lights normally used throughout the City. The Commission was informed that <br />the problem of additional cost would be decided by the City Council, and <br />that the Commission should merely acknowledge their like or dislike of the <br />proposed street lights. Mr. Castro read a memorandum from the Associate <br />Civil Engineer regarding the cost and location of the proposed electroliers. <br />After discussion, UPON MOTION OF COMMISSIONER GARRIGAN, SECONDED BY CHAIRMAN <br />ANTONINI, IT WAS DETERMINED TO RECOMMEND TO THE CITY COUNCIL THE STYLE OF <br />STREET LIGHTS SUGGESTED FOR TRACT 3004, IN ACCORDANCE WITH EXHIBIT A. <br />There being no further business to come before the Commiss 6n, upon <br />of Chairman Antonini, seconded by Commissioner Plato, and rried, <br />meeting was adjourned to meet again on July 10, 1968. <br />L ~ ~ <br />Sec <br />5, 6-26-68 <br />
