M I N U T E S PLANNING COMMISSION Pleasanton, California June 26, 1968 The regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning Commission was called to order by Chairman Antonini at 8:07 P.M., Wednesday, June 26, 1968. ROLL CALL evidenced the following: PRESENT: ABSENT: APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Commissioner Gibbs Arnold Plato Chairman Antonini Secretary Castro Commissioner Carrigan Commissioner Plato stated that in the minutes of June 12, 1968, on Item Sa, Resolution No. 786 was made upon motion of Commissioner Plato, seconded by Chairman Antonini, etc. Upon motion of Chairman Antonini, seconded by Commissioner Gibbs, the minutes of June 12, 1968, were approved as corrected. 4.) Secretary Castro noted the following additions to the Agenda: Item 6c, Z-68-39, Amador Valley Investors Item 12c referral from Alameda County Item 12d, request for approval of electroliers for Tract 3004, Valley Trails. 5. OLD BUSINESS a.) V-68-16, Charles Lehmann Application of Charles Lehmann, 1833 East 25th Street, Oakland, for a Variance to Section 2.100 to allow a reduction in the site area per dwelling unit from 1500 square feet to 1477 square feet at property located at 852 Division Street. b.) Z-68-30, Charles Lehmann Application of Charles Lehmann, 1833 East 25th Street, Oakland, for a Zoning Permit with Site Plan, Architectural and Landscape Approval for a 12-unit apartment building to be located at 852 Division Street in an RM-15 District. S. NEW BUSINESS - PUBLIC HEARINGS a.) GPA-68-1. Planning Commission Chairman Antonini opened the public hearing on the application of the Planning Com<ission, City of Pleasanton, for an amendment to the General Plan, said amendments to include the following land use studies, circulation etudiea, and major approved developments: 1. The Willow West Development 2. Extension of Foxpoint Road 3. Land use modifications on Santa Rita Road° 4. Zoning modification to that land fronting on the east aide of Foothill Road between Foothill F.arme and the intersection of Castlewood Road and doothill Road 5. Land use study of areas along east side of Sunol Boulevard from the freeway interchange north to Mission Drive. Mr. Castro reviewed the staff report dated June 26, 1968, Mr. Castro stated that the General Plan Amendment was before the Commission to meet the State law requirement that prior to adoption of revisions to a General Plan, said revisions must be reviewed at a public hearing by both the Planning Commission and the City Council. Further, it is desirable, he continued, that those amendments which have been adopted by the Planning Commission and City Council be declared as policy decisions in regard to land use as defined 1n the General Plan adopted in 1965.
