M I N U T E S <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Pleasanton, California <br />June 26, 1968 <br />The regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning Commission was called to order <br />by Chairman Antonini at 8:07 P.M., Wednesday, June 26, 1968. <br />ROLL CALL evidenced the following: <br />PRESENT: <br />ABSENT: <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: <br />Commissioner Gibbs <br />Arnold <br />Plato <br />Chairman Antonini <br />Secretary Castro <br />Commissioner Carrigan <br />Commissioner Plato stated that in the minutes of June 12, 1968, on Item Sa, <br />Resolution No. 786 was made upon motion of Commissioner Plato, seconded by <br />Chairman Antonini, etc. Upon motion of Chairman Antonini, seconded by <br />Commissioner Gibbs, the minutes of June 12, 1968, were approved as corrected. <br />4.) Secretary Castro noted the following additions to the Agenda: <br />Item 6c, Z-68-39, Amador Valley Investors <br />Item 12c referral from Alameda County <br />Item 12d, request for approval of electroliers for Tract 3004, Valley Trails. <br />5. OLD BUSINESS <br />a.) V-68-16, Charles Lehmann <br />Application of Charles Lehmann, 1833 East 25th Street, Oakland, for a Variance <br />to Section 2.100 to allow a reduction in the site area per dwelling unit from <br />1500 square feet to 1477 square feet at property located at 852 Division Street. <br />b.) Z-68-30, Charles Lehmann <br />Application of Charles Lehmann, 1833 East 25th Street, Oakland, for a Zoning <br />Permit with Site Plan, Architectural and Landscape Approval for a 12-unit <br />apartment building to be located at 852 Division Street in an RM-15 District. <br />UPON MOTION OF CHAIRMAN ANTONINI, SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER ARNOLD, AND CARRIED, <br />IT WAS DETERMINED TO CONTINUE 5'a and Sb TO THE MEETING OF JULY 24, 1968, <br />TO ALLOW THE APPLICANT TO SUBMIT NEW PLANS. <br />S. NEW BUSINESS - PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />a.) GPA-68-1. Planning Commission <br />Chairman Antonini opened the public hearing on the application of the Planning <br />Com<ission, City of Pleasanton, for an amendment to the General Plan, said <br />amendments to include the following land use studies, circulation etudiea, <br />and major approved developments: <br />1. The Willow West Development <br />2. Extension of Foxpoint Road <br />3. Land use modifications on Santa Rita Road° <br />4. Zoning modification to that land fronting on the east aide of <br />Foothill Road between Foothill F.arme and the intersection of <br />Castlewood Road and doothill Road <br />5. Land use study of areas along east side of Sunol Boulevard from <br />the freeway interchange north to Mission Drive. <br />Mr. Castro reviewed the staff report dated June 26, 1968, Mr. Castro stated <br />that the General Plan Amendment was before the Commission to meet the State <br />law requirement that prior to adoption of revisions to a General Plan, said <br />revisions must be reviewed at a public hearing by both the Planning Commission <br />and the City Council. Further, it is desirable, he continued, that those <br />amendments which have been adopted by the Planning Commission and City Council <br />be declared as policy decisions in regard to land use as defined 1n the General <br />Plan adopted in 1965.
