CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-499 <br /> <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE SLIDE <br /> REPAIR ON THE SOUT~ SIDE OF LONGVIEW <br /> DRIVE, PROJECT NO. 895054, AND APPROVAL <br /> OF FINAL PROGRESS PAYMENT TO C & G <br /> CONTRACTORS, INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, work by C & G Contractors, Inc. on the improvements <br /> for the slide repair on the south side of Longview <br /> Drive, Project No. 895054, has been satisfactorily <br /> completed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br /> payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the improvements forthe slide repair <br /> on the south side of Longview Drive is hereby <br /> accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare <br /> a warrant in the amount of $10,326.96 in favor of <br /> C & G Contractors, Inc. in satisfaction of the <br /> final progress payment for the above-accepted work <br /> on Project No. 895054. Ten percent (10%) of the <br /> total contract or $3,670.56 will be retained until <br /> thirty (30) days after filing of the Notice of <br /> Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Clerk is directed to file a Notice of <br /> Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: Authorizes appropriation of $7,000 from the <br /> General Fund for this project. <br /> <br />Section 5: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
