CONTRACT FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES <br /> PUBLIC FACILITIES MASTER PLAN <br /> <br />THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this day of <br /> , by and between the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a <br />municipal corporation (hereinafter referred to as "City"), <br />and Steinmann, Grayson and Smylie (hereinafter referred to as <br />"Consultant"). <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> A. Consultant is qualified to provide, and experienced <br /> in providing, municipal facilities planning <br /> services and has offered its services for the <br /> purposes specified in this Agreement. <br /> <br /> B. In the judgment of the City, it is necessary and <br /> advisable to employ the services of Consultant for <br /> the purpose of undertaking their municipal <br /> facilities planning services. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants, <br />agreements and conditions contained herein, City and <br />Consultant agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Consultant's Services. Consultant shall diligently <br /> perform the services and furnish the materials, <br /> reports, maps and so forth as hereinafter set <br /> forth: <br /> <br /> a. Consultant shall perform all work described in <br /> Exhibit "A", Scope of Work, attached hereto <br /> and incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> b. Consultant shall meet with the technical staff <br /> of the City, other pertinent agencies, and/or <br /> landowners as necessary to complete scope of <br /> work outlined in Section 1 (a) herein. <br /> <br /> 2. City Services. In order to assist Consultant in <br /> this study, City shall provide any existing plans <br /> of the area on file and necessary direction within <br /> a reasonable time. <br /> <br /> 3. Sufficiency of Consultant's Work. Consultant <br /> agrees that all reports, maps, and plans prepared <br /> for the City shall be adequate and sufficient to <br /> meet the purposes for which they are performed. <br /> <br /> 4. Ownership of Work. All maps, reports, work data, <br /> and all other documents completed or partially <br /> completed by Consultant in the performance of this <br /> Agreement shall become the property of City. <br /> <br /> <br />
