CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-478 <br /> <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF IMPROVEMENTS FOR PORTIONS <br /> OF THE HACIENDA DRIVE/I-580 INTERCHANGE <br /> WAREHOUSE NO. 7 DEMOLITION, PROJECT NO. <br /> NPID3-8904, AND APPROVAL OF FINAL <br /> PROGRESS PAYMENT TO GRADE-WAY <br /> CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, work by Grade-Way Construction Company, Inc. on the <br /> Improvements for Portions of Hacienda Drive/I-580 <br /> Interchange Warehouse No. 7 Demolition, Project No. <br /> NPID3-8904, has been satisfactorily completed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br /> payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the Improvements for Portions of the <br /> Hacienda Drive/I-580 Interchange Warehouse No. 7 <br /> Demolition is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare <br /> a warrant in the amount of $72,745.20 in favor of <br /> Grade-way Construction Company, Inc. in <br /> satisfaction of the final progress payment for the <br /> above-accepted work on Project No. NPID3-8904. Ten <br /> percent (10%) of the total contract or $8,082.80 <br /> will be retained until thirty (30) days after <br /> filing of the Notice of Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Clerk is directed to file a Notice of <br /> Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
