CIVIC CENTER PLANNING PROGRAM <br /> <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> <br />The scope of work includes analysis of available information, <br />preparation of sohedules, meetings with city staff and production <br />of a report to address the following items: <br /> <br />1.0 Space Needs <br /> <br /> 1.1 Determine increase in city hall space needs each year, <br /> from COP 5-year staffing plan. <br /> <br /> 1.2 Assess current space needs and identify expansion <br /> options including additions to existing buildings and <br /> constructing new buildings. <br /> <br /> 1.3 Generate schedule for expanding city hall up to 42,000 <br /> usable square feet, as determined by 1986 Space Study. <br /> <br /> 1.4 Identify critical activities such as buying land. <br /> <br />2.0 Cost Estimating <br /> <br /> 2.1 Estimate Costs for each expansion option. <br /> <br /> 2.2 Estimate cash flow for land acquisition, construction <br /> and other project costs. <br /> <br />3.0 Review Options <br /> 3.1 Review each option for expanding city hall. <br /> <br /> 3.2 Identify advantages and disadvantages of each option. <br /> <br /> 3.3 Recommend options which meet criteria such as minimum <br /> cost, shortest schedule and minimum impact on city <br /> services. <br /> <br />4.0 Meetings <br /> <br /> 4.1 Meet with city staff to gather information, discuss <br /> options and develop recommendations. <br /> <br />5.0 Report <br /> <br /> 5.1 Produce report on above items for council members. <br /> <br /> <br />
