CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-469 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING PROPOSAL FOR <br /> PREPARATION OF CIVIC CENTER PLANNING <br /> PROGRAM <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of November 7, 1989, the City <br /> Council reviewed the staff report of the City <br /> Manager (SR 89:475) regarding a proposal submitted <br /> by Richard Sampson for an Initial Planning Study <br /> for a Civic Center and an amendment to the <br /> Operating Budget; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council approves the proposal and scope <br /> of work presented by Richard Sampson and <br /> Associates, regarding development of a Civic <br /> Center, a copy of which is attached hereto and <br /> incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes an amendment to the Operating Budget <br /> to include $6,800 to cover the cost of the above <br /> study. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON, AT A MEETING HELD ON NOVEMBER 7, 1989 BY THE <br />FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />Michael H. Roush, City Attorney <br /> <br /> <br />
