CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-467 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF VALleYCARE <br /> ASSOCIATES AS FILED UNDER CASE Z-89-530 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Valleycare Associates has applied for design review <br /> approval to construct an approximately 87,000 sq. ft. <br /> acute care hospital, 45,000 sq. ft. medical office <br /> building, 8,000 sq. ft. central plant, and 6,500 sq. <br /> ft. helipad, to be located at 5555 West Las Positas <br /> Boulevard; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, zoning for the property is C-C (Central Commercial) <br /> District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at a duly noticed public hearing on November 7, 1989, <br /> the City Council considered all public testimony, <br /> relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br /> concerning this application; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Council received the recommendations of the Design <br /> Review Board for approval of the proposed application; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council determined that the design and <br /> architecture of the proposed Phase II improvements on <br /> the Valleycare site are appropriate and consistent with <br /> the theme established in Phase I. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Approves the application of Valleycare for design <br /> review approval to construct an approximately 87,000 sq. <br /> ft. acute care hospital, a 45,000 sq. ft. medical office <br /> building, an 8,000 sq. ft. central plant, and a 6,500 <br /> sq. ft. helipad to be located at 5555 West Las Positas <br /> Boulevard, subject to the conditions shown on Exhibit <br /> "A", attached hereto and made part of this case by <br /> reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> -1- <br /> <br /> <br />
