CITY OF COUNCIL CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-466 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br /> CASE PUD-81-30-48D-22M, THE APPLICATION OF <br /> PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY OF AMERICA <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of November 7, 1989, the City Council <br /> received the proposed negative declaration for <br /> Prudential Insurance Company of America's application <br /> for a major modification and design review approval to <br /> construct a five-story, 225,000 sq. ft. office building <br /> located in the area generally bounded by Baker Drive, <br /> Gibraltar Drive, and Hacienda Drive; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated September 28, 1989 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held November 7, 1989 <br /> at which time the public was given the opportunity to <br /> comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposal would not have <br /> any significant adverse effects on the environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for <br /> Case PUD-81-30-48D-22M, the application of Prudential <br /> Insurance Company for a major modification and design <br /> review approval to construct a five-story, approximately <br /> 230,000 sq. ft. office building to be located on an <br /> approximately 11.6 acre site located generally in the <br /> area bounded by Baker Drive, Gibraltar Drive, and <br /> Hacienda Drive. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
