CITY OF COUNCIL CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 89-466 RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR CASE PUD-81-30-48D-22M, THE APPLICATION OF PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY OF AMERICA WHEREAS, at its meeting of November 7, 1989, the City Council received the proposed negative declaration for Prudential Insurance Company of America's application for a major modification and design review approval to construct a five-story, 225,000 sq. ft. office building located in the area generally bounded by Baker Drive, Gibraltar Drive, and Hacienda Drive; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated September 28, 1989 and received the recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held November 7, 1989 at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposal would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for Case PUD-81-30-48D-22M, the application of Prudential Insurance Company for a major modification and design review approval to construct a five-story, approximately 230,000 sq. ft. office building to be located on an approximately 11.6 acre site located generally in the area bounded by Baker Drive, Gibraltar Drive, and Hacienda Drive. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption.
