CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-465 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br /> CASE RZ-89-11, THE APPLICATION OF THE CITY OF <br /> PI~ASANTON FOR PREZONING <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of November 7, 1989, the City Council <br /> received the proposed negative declaration for Case <br /> RZ-89-11, the application of the City of Pleasanton to <br /> prezone an approximately 246 acre site (Shadow Cliffs <br /> Regional Park) located on the south side of Stanley <br /> Boulevard approximately 2200 ft. west of the <br /> intersection of Stanley Boulevard and Valley Avenue to <br /> the "P" (Public and Institutional) District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated October 18, 1989 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held November 7, 1989 <br /> at which time the public was given the opportunity to <br /> comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposal would not have <br /> any significant adverse effects on the environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for Case RZ-89-11, <br /> the application of the City of Pleasanton to prezone an <br /> approximately 246 acre site (Shadow Cliffs Regional <br /> Park) located on the south side of Stanley Boulevard <br /> approximately 2200 ft. west of the intersection of <br /> Stanley Boulevard and Valley Avenue to the "P" (Public <br /> and Institutional) District. <br /> <br /> <br />
