RESOLUTION NO. 07-140 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ADOPTING THE 2007-OS AND 2008-09 OPERATING BUDGET AND THE 2007-08 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM WHEREAS, biennially the city adopts an operating budget; and WHEREAS, a budget workshop to review the budget was held June 12, 2007; and WHEREAS, at a public hearing on June 19, 2007, staff presented a report regarding the recommended Operating Budget for 2007-08 & 2008-09 including the Library Services Department, and the Community Development Block Grant Program for 2007-08. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: A. Section 1: Adopts the 2007-08 & 2008-09 Operating Budget as outlined in Attachment Section 2: Adopts the 2007-OS Community Development Block Grant program as outlined in Attachment B. Section 3: Authorizes funding for management compensation as approved by the Ciry Manager consistent with the City ManagemenUConfidential Employee Performance Compensation Plan. Section 4: Acting as the Library Board of Directors, adopts the 2007-08 & 2008-09 Library Services Department budget as presented in the Operating Budget. Section 5: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on June 19, 2007.
