CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION N0. 89-461 <br /> <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE <br /> RESURFACING OF FOOTHILL ROAD, SPRINGDAT~ <br /> AVENUE AND OWENS DRIVE, PROJECT NO. <br /> 885019B, AND APPROVAL OF FINAL PROGRESS <br /> PAYMENT TO O'GRADY PAVING, INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, work by O'Grady Paving, Inc. on the resurfacing of <br /> Foothill Road, Springdale Avenue, and Owens Drive, <br /> Project No. 885019B, has been satisfactorily <br /> completed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br /> payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the resurfacing of Foothill Road, <br /> Springdale Avenue and Owens Drive is hereby <br /> accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare <br /> a warrant in the amount of $7,503.75 in favor of <br /> O'Grady Paving, Inc. in satisfaction of the final <br /> progress payment for the above-accepted work on <br /> Project No. 885019B. Ten percent (10%) of the <br /> total contract or $36,678.01 will be retained until <br /> thirty (30) days after filing of the Notice of <br /> Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Clerk is directed to file a Notice of <br /> Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
