RESOLUTION NO. 89-460 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ISSUE SERIES C BONDS IN <br /> ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1986-9, <br /> NORTH PLEASANTON IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 3 <br /> <br />The City Council of the City of Pleasanton resolves: <br />This City Council has heretofore levied an assessment <br />in Assessment District No. 1986-9, North Pleasanton Improvement <br />District No. 3, City of Pleasanton, Alameda County, California, <br />in the total amount of $64,762,151.00, as later modified to <br />$64,229,206.73, and has issued a Series A of improvement bonds in <br />the amount of $22,126,599.24, and a Series B of improvement bonds <br />in the amount of $23,931,728.99, against those assessments <br />following the expiration of a cash payment period for each issue. <br /> <br /> The City Council intends to issue the final series of <br />bonds as Series C of improvement bonds after permitting owners of <br />assessed land to pay their Series C assessment in cash without <br />interest. <br /> <br /> The Series C bond issue is to be in the amount of <br />$16,393,218.39, less credits for cash payments received from <br />owners of assessed land within 30 days after notification by the <br />City Clerk. <br /> <br /> The City Clerk is authorized and directed to furnish <br />notice to each assessed owner of his or her right to make payment <br />in cash. Property owners who pay all or a portion of their <br />prorata share of their assessments will receive a discount for <br />cash payment in the amount of five percent. <br /> <br /> , , , <br /> <br /> <br />
