PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2517 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION FOR GP-86-6, SAFRENO <br />WHEREAS, Douglas Safreno has applied to amend the Land Use <br />Element of the General Plan from "High Density <br />Residential" to "Commercial and Offices" for an <br />approximately 9,500 sq. ft. site located at 4232 First <br />Street; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 13, 1986, the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />this General Plan amendment application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated August 7, 1986 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held August 13, 1986 <br />at which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends approval of the negative declaration <br />prepared for Case GP-86-6, application of Douglas <br />Safreno to amend the Land Use Element of the General <br />Plan from "High Density Residential" to "Commercial and <br />Offices" for an approximately 9,500 sq. ft. site located <br />at 4232 First Street. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />- 1 - <br />
