PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 2819 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR GP-86-7, PLEASANTON JOINT SCHOOL DISTRICT WHEREAS, Pleasanton Elementary School District has applied to amend the Land Use Element of the General Plan from "Public and Institutional" to "Medium Density Residential" for an approximately 7.7 acre site located immediately north of Mission Hills Park; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 13, 1986, the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration for this General Plan amendment application; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated August 7, 1986 and received the recommendations of the staff; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held August 13, 1986 at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment: NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Recommends approval of the negative declaration prepared for Case GP-86-7, application of the Pleasanton Elementary School District to amend the Land Use Elementary of the General Plan from "Public and Institutional" to "Medium Density Residential for an approximately 7.7 acre site located immediately north of Mission Hills Park. Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. - 1 -
