PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2819 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION FOR GP-86-7, PLEASANTON JOINT SCHOOL <br />DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, Pleasanton Elementary School District has applied to <br />amend the Land Use Element of the General Plan from <br />"Public and Institutional" to "Medium Density <br />Residential" for an approximately 7.7 acre site located <br />immediately north of Mission Hills Park; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 13, 1986, the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />this General Plan amendment application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated August 7, 1986 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held August 13, 1986 <br />at which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends approval of the negative declaration <br />prepared for Case GP-86-7, application of the Pleasanton <br />Elementary School District to amend the Land Use <br />Elementary of the General Plan from "Public and <br />Institutional" to "Medium Density Residential for an <br />approximately 7.7 acre site located immediately north of <br />Mission Hills Park. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />- 1 - <br />
