PLANNING COMMISSION, CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 2820 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF CASE GP-86-7, APPLICATION OF PLEASANTON SCHOOL DISTRICT WHEREAS, Pleasanton School District has applied to amend the land use element of the General Plan from "Public and Institutional" to "Medium Density Residential" for an approximately 7.7 acre site located immediately north of Mission Hills Park; and WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of August 13, 1986 after considering all public testimony, relevant exhibits and recommendations of the City staff concerning this application, the Planning Commission recommended approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for this application; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found "Medium Density Residential " and "Open Space"to be an appropriate land use designations for the subject site. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: Section 1. Recommends approval of Case GP-86-7, application of Pleasanton School District to amend the Land Use Element of the General Plan from "Public and Institutional" to "Medium Density Residential" and "Open Space," subject to the following conditions: 1. That the land use designation be changed to "Medium Density Residential" and "Open Space - Public Health and Safety as shown on the attached Topographical Map, Exhibit A, acknowledging that the topographical map is conceptual only and does not show a precise boundary plan. Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ON THE 13TH DAY OF AUGUST 1986 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: AYES: Commissioners Hoyt, Michelotti, Wellman and Vice Chairman Innes NOES: None ABSENT: Commissioner Berger and Chairman Lindsey ABSTAIN: None
