PLANNING COMMISSION, CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2820 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RECOMMENDING <br />APPROVAL OF CASE GP-86-7, APPLICATION OF PLEASANTON <br />SCHOOL DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, Pleasanton School District has applied to amend the land <br />use element of the General Plan from "Public and <br />Institutional" to "Medium Density Residential" for an <br />approximately 7.7 acre site located immediately north of <br />Mission Hills Park; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of August 13, 1986 <br />after considering all public testimony, relevant <br />exhibits and recommendations of the City staff <br />concerning this application, the Planning Commission <br />recommended approval of the Negative Declaration <br />prepared for this application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission found "Medium Density <br />Residential " and "Open Space"to be an appropriate land <br />use designations for the subject site. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES THE FOLLOWING: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of Case GP-86-7, application of <br />Pleasanton School District to amend the Land Use Element <br />of the General Plan from "Public and Institutional" to <br />"Medium Density Residential" and "Open Space," subject <br />to the following conditions: <br />1. That the land use designation be changed to "Medium <br />Density Residential" and "Open Space - Public Health <br />and Safety as shown on the attached Topographical <br />Map, Exhibit A, acknowledging that the topographical <br />map is conceptual only and does not show a precise <br />boundary plan. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON ON THE 13TH DAY OF AUGUST 1986 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Hoyt, Michelotti, Wellman and <br />Vice Chairman Innes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Berger and Chairman Lindsey <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />
