PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2821 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION FOR PUD-86-9, CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied for rezoning from "A" <br />(Agricultural) and CS (Commercial Service) to PUD <br />(Planned Unit Development)-High Density Residential <br />District; and development plan approval to construct a <br />220-unit senior citizens residential complex to be <br />located on an approximately 9.2 acre site located <br />generally in the area west of the railroad tracks of the <br />Southern Pacific Transportation Company at the southern <br />terminus of Old Bernal Avenue; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of August 13, 1986, the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />this General Plan amendment application; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated August 1, 1986 and received the. <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held August 13, 1986 <br />at which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends approval of the negative declaration <br />prepared for Case PUD-86-9, the application of the City <br />of Pleasanton for rezoning from "A" (Agricultural) and <br />CS (Commercial Service) to the PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-High Density Residential District; and <br />development plan approval to construct a 220 unit senior <br />citizens residential complex to be located on an <br />approximately 9.2 acre site located generally in the <br />area west of the railroad tracks of the Southern Pacific <br />Transportation Company at the southern terminus of Old <br />Bernal Avenue. <br />- 1 - <br />
