CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br />Amendments to Certain Sections of Chapter 18 (SIGNS) Pertaining <br />to Limitations on the Number of Illuminated Signs on Service <br />Station Sites in Commercial and Industrial Zoning Districts. <br />The City Council of the City of Pleasanton Does Hereby Ordain as <br />Follows; <br />Sectionl: Subsection 18.96.060 (A through F) Chapter 18 of <br />the Municipal Code of the City of Pleasanton is <br />hereby amended to read as follows: <br />~~No sign or outdoor advertising structure shall be <br />permitted in a C or I district except the <br />following: <br />A. In a C-N district, business signs not <br />exceeding one-half square foot for each foot <br />of property line adjoining a portion of the <br />site occupied by uses to which the signs <br />direct attention, provided that signs not <br />exceeding forty square feet shall be permitted <br />on a site having less than eighty feet of <br />street property line, and provided that signs <br />on the site of a service station shall not <br />exceed a total of eighty square feet. <br />Business signs shall be attached to a building <br />except that one freestanding sign not <br />exceeding fifty square feet or twelve feet in <br />height shall be permitted on a site having at <br />least three acres occupied by uses to which <br />the signs direct attention. `" " " ' "'° ; <br /> <br />_, , _ ..,_, ..
