PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2827 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE <br />DECLARATION FOR CASES GP-86-3 AND PUD-86-13 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend the General <br />Plan Land Use Element designation of an approximately <br />4.8 acre site from "Low Density Residential" to "Open <br />Space" (Parks and Recreation), of an approximately 4.5 <br />acre site from "Open Space" (Parks and Recreation) to <br />"Medium Density Residential" generally located in the <br />area south and north of Mission Hills Park, <br />respectively; and <br />WHEREAS, Castlewood Properties has applied for rezoning from the <br />"A" (Agricultural) to the PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development)-Medium Density Residential District and <br />development plan approval for a 12 parcel single-family <br />residential development, to be located on an <br />approximately 5.2 acre site located generally in the <br />area north of Mission Hills Park; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 10, 1986, the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />the two subject applications; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated and received the recommendations of <br />the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held September 10, <br />1986 at which time the public was given the opportunity <br />to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed <br />projects; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposals would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration <br />prepared for Cases GP-86-3 and PUD-86-13 as herein <br />described. <br />- 1 - <br />
