PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA RESOLUTION NO. 2827 RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR CASES GP-86-3 AND PUD-86-13 WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend the General Plan Land Use Element designation of an approximately 4.8 acre site from "Low Density Residential" to "Open Space" (Parks and Recreation), of an approximately 4.5 acre site from "Open Space" (Parks and Recreation) to "Medium Density Residential" generally located in the area south and north of Mission Hills Park, respectively; and WHEREAS, Castlewood Properties has applied for rezoning from the "A" (Agricultural) to the PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Medium Density Residential District and development plan approval for a 12 parcel single-family residential development, to be located on an approximately 5.2 acre site located generally in the area north of Mission Hills Park; and WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 10, 1986, the Planning Commission received a proposed negative declaration for the two subject applications; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the Initial Study dated and received the recommendations of the staff; and WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held September 10, 1986 at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed projects; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential impacts in accordance with the applicable state and local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposals would not have any significant adverse effects on the environment. NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration prepared for Cases GP-86-3 and PUD-86-13 as herein described. - 1 -
