CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-457 <br /> <br /> ACCEPTANCE OF IMPROVEMENTS FOR PORTIONS <br /> OF THE HACIENDA DRIVE/I-580 INTERCHANGE <br /> WATERLINE RELOCATION, PROJECT NO. NPID3- <br /> 89054A, AND APPROVAL OF FINAL PROGRESS <br /> PAYMENT TO TOM'S BACKHOE, INC. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, work by Tom's Backhoe, Inc. on the <br /> Improvements for Portions of Hacienda <br /> Drive/I-580 Interchange Waterline <br /> Relocation, Project No. NPID3-89054A, has <br /> been satisfactorily completed; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is appropriate to authorize the final progress <br /> payment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The work on the Improvements for Portions of the <br /> Hacienda Drive/I-580 Interchange Waterline <br /> Relocation is hereby accepted. <br /> <br />Section 2: The Director of Finance is instructed to prepare <br /> a warrant in the amount of $20,520.94 in favor of <br /> Tom's Backhoe, Inc. in satisfaction of the final <br /> progress payment for the above-accepted work on <br /> Project No. NPID3-8905A. Five percent of the total <br /> contract or $1,080.05 will be retained until thirty <br /> (30) days after filing of the Notice of <br /> Completion. <br /> <br />Section 3: The City Clerk is directed to file a Notice of <br /> Completion with the Alameda County Recorder. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
