PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2834 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARAmION FOR VALLEY <br />MEMORIAL HOSPITAL, PUD-86-11 <br />WHEREAS, Valley Memorial Hospital has applied for rezoning from <br />"P" (Public and Institutional) to PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - Public and Institutional District and <br />development plan approval for an approximately 488,000 <br />sq. ft. medical center complex consisting of <br />offices/ambulatory care, and related facilities to be <br />constructed in four phases, to be located on an <br />approximately 27.7 acre site, located at the northwest <br />corner of the intersection of Santa Rita Road and West <br />Las Positas Boulevard; <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of September 10, 1986 the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />Case PUD-86-11; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated August 8, 1986 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held September 10, <br />1986 at which time the public was given the opportunity <br />to comment on the environmental impacts of the proposal; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration for <br />Case PUD-86-11, Valley Memorial Hospital as herein <br />described. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />- 1 - <br />
