PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2838 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF RZ-86-9, APPLICATION <br />OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RELATING TO FORTUNE TELLING <br />WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton has applied to amend the <br />Municipal Code relating to fortune telling and related <br />uses in the "C" (Commercial) and "O" (Office) Districts; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission initiated an amendment to the <br />Municipal Code to permit fortune telling and related <br />uses as conditionally permitted uses in the CC (Central <br />Commercial), CR(m) (Regional Commercial - mall), CR(p) <br />(Regional Commercial - periphery), and "O" (Office) <br />Districts as a result of a recently received application <br />to provide this use in the City of Pleasanton; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of September l0, <br />1986 the Planning Commission considered all public <br />testimony, relevant exhibits and the draft ordinance <br />proposed concerning this application. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Recommends adoption of the draft ordinance attached <br />hereto and made part of this case by reference, but <br />eliminating the "C" (Commercial Districts. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />THIS RESOLUTION ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 10, 1986 BY THE FOLLOWING VOTE: <br />AYES: Commissioners Hoyt, Innes, Michelotti, Wellman and <br />Chairman Lindsey <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br />DATE: September 10, 1986 <br />ATTEST <br />Brian W.
