PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2848 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR JOSEPH MADDEN AND SOUTHERN PACIFIC TRANSPORTATION <br />COMPANY <br />WHEREAS, Joseph Madden and Southern Pacific Transportation <br />Company have applied for rezoning to PUD (Planned Unit <br />Development) - Commercial and Offices District for an <br />approximately 7.6 acre site, the previous 100 foot width <br />railroad right-of-way located immediately north of and <br />parallel to Stanley Boulevard, between Stanley <br />Boulevard/First Street and a point approximately 3,350 <br />feet northeasterly of that intersection; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 22, 1986, the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />Case PUD-86-14; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated October 14, 1986 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held October 22, 1986 <br />at which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration for <br />Case PUD-86-14 as herein described. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />- 1 - <br />
