PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2850 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR WILLIAM MARSH AS FILED UNDER CASE GP-86-9 <br />WHEREAS, William Marsh has applied for a General Plan Amendment <br />to redesignate a 30,000 sq. ft. site locted at 5998 <br />Sunol Boulevard from "Low Density Residential" to <br />"Commercial and Offices;" and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 22, 1986, the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />Case GP-8G-9; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated October 15, 1986 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held October 22, 1986 <br />at which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration for <br />Case GP-86-9 as herein described. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />- 1 - <br />
