PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2859 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL A NEGATIVE DECLARATION <br />FOR PUD-85-8-2M, CALLAHAN, SWEENEY AND <br />O'BRIEN/PRUDENTIAL INSURANCE COMPANY OF AMERICA <br />WHEREAS, Callahan, Sweeney, and O'Brien and Prudential Insurance <br />Company of America have applied for a major <br />modification to an approved planned unit development <br />zoning for a business park, including changes to zoning, <br />uses, and development standards, to be located on an <br />approximately 10.9 acre site located at the southeast <br />corner of Owens Drive and Chabot Drive; and <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 22, 1986, the Planning <br />Commission received a proposed negative declaration for <br />Case PUD-85-8-2M, and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has received and reviewed the <br />Initial Study dated October 17, 1986 and received the <br />recommendations of the staff; and <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held October 22, 1986 <br />at which time the public was given the opportunity to <br />comment on the environmental impacts of the proposed; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the potential <br />impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br />local guidelines governing the preparation of Negative <br />Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposal would <br />not have any significant adverse effects on the <br />environment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1: Recommends approval of the Negative Declaration for <br />Case PUD-85-8-2M as herein described. <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br />upon its passage and adoption. <br />- 1 - <br />
