PLANNING COMMISSION CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br />RESOLUTION N0. 2862 <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A DRAFT ORDINANCE <br />FOR FORTUNE TELLING (RZ-86-9) <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission reviewed staff reports and <br />recommended fortune telling be included as conditionally <br />permitted uses in the CR (m), CR(p) and "O" (Office <br />Districts; and <br />WHEREAS, at their duly noticed public hearing of October 7, 1986 <br />the City Council considered Case RZ-86-9 and initiated <br />an amendment to the Code to include such uses in <br />Industrial Districts; and <br />WHEREAS, since the Planning Commission did not specifically <br />consider these uses in the "I" Districts, the Council <br />referred the matter back to the Planning Commission for <br />review and recommendations; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission agrees with the City Council's <br />action concerning the inclusion of fortune telling as a <br />conditionally permitted use in the IP and IG Districts. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Recommends approval of the Draft Ordinance attached <br />hereto and made part of this case by reference. <br />Section 2.
