CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-449 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE DECLARATION FOR <br /> CASE PUD-89-11, THE APPLICATION OF KAISER TECH <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 31, 1989, the City Council <br /> received for the proposed negative declaration for <br /> Kaiser Tech's application torezone the 80 acre Kaiser <br /> Center for Technology site from I-P (Industrial Park) <br /> District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - <br /> Industrial District and approve a phased development <br /> plan for the 17.61 acre portion of the site containing <br /> the existing core facilities and associated off-street <br /> parking improvements; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the Initial <br /> Study dated July 28, 1989 and received the <br /> recommendations of the staff and Planning Commission; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which time the <br /> public was given the opportunity to comment on the <br /> environmental impacts of the proposal; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential impacts in <br /> accordance with the applicable state and local <br /> guidelines governing. the preparation of Negative <br /> Declarations and Environmental Impact Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposal would not have <br /> any significant adverse effects on the environment. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for <br /> Case PUD-89-11, the application of Kaiser Tech to rezone <br /> the 80 acre Kaiser Center Kaiser for Technology site <br /> from I-P (Industrial Park) District to the PUD (Planned <br /> Unit Development) - Industrial District, and a phased <br /> development plan for the 17.61 acre portion of the site <br /> containing the existing core facilities and associated <br /> off-street parking improvements located at 6177 Sunol <br /> Boulevard. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective immediately <br /> upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
