CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-448 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING A NEGATIVE <br /> DECLARATION FORTME APPLICATION OF CURRIN <br /> CONSTRUCTION TO REZONEANAPPROXIMATELY <br /> 39,508 SQ. FT. SITE AS FILED UNDER CASE <br /> PUD-89-14 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at its meeting of October 31, 1989, the City <br /> Council received a proposed negative declaration <br /> for rezoning an approximately 39,500 sq. ft. site <br /> located on the northeast corner of Bernal and <br /> Pleasanton Avenues from the "A" (Agricultural) <br /> District to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - <br /> Office District; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received and reviewed the <br /> Initial Study dated September 5, 1989 and received <br /> the recommendations of the staff and Planning <br /> Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held at which <br /> time the public was given the opportunity to <br /> comment on the environmental impacts of the <br /> proposed rezoning; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the potential <br /> impacts in accordance with the applicable state and <br /> local guidelines governing the preparation of <br /> Negative Declarations and Environmental Impact <br /> Reports; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the proposed <br /> rezoning would not have any significant adverse <br /> effects on the environment; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: Approves the Negative Declaration for <br /> the application of Curtin Construction to rezone an <br /> approximately 39,500 sq. ft. site located on the <br /> northeast corner of Bernal and Pleasanton Avenues <br /> from the "A" (Agricultural) District to the PUD <br /> (Planned Unit Development) - Office District. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
