CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-437 <br /> <br /> APPROVAL OF BID AND AUTHORIZATION TO <br /> PURCHASE A TRUCK-MOUNTED, HIGH-PRESSURE <br /> HYDRAULIC SEWER Cr~ANINGMACHINE, <br /> CIP NO. 882908 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City prepared specifications for the purchase <br /> of a truck-mounted, high-pressure hydraulic sewer <br /> cleaning machine, CIP No. 882908; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on <br /> October 17, 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bid of Weco Industries, Inc., in the amount of <br /> $106,427.12 was determined to be the only official <br /> bid received; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities <br /> recommended that the bid of Weco Industries, Inc. <br /> be accepted; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The bid of Weco Industries, Inc., in the amount <br /> of $106,427.12, for the purchase of a truck-mounted <br /> high-pressure hydraulic sewer cleaning machine, CIP <br /> No. 882908, is hereby accepted by the City Council <br /> as the lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City Manager is authorized to execute a <br /> contract with Weco Industries, Inc. for the <br /> equipment specified above. <br /> <br />Section 3: Authorizes the transfer of $22,000 from CIP <br /> Project No. 892912, Utility Tractor, to be combined <br /> with the $85,000 estimate for CIP No. 882908, for a <br /> total fund of $107,000. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
