CONTRACT FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES <br /> NORTH SYCAMORE SPECIFIC PLAN AND EIR <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this __day of <br /> , 1989, by and between the CITY OF PT.RASANTON, a <br /> municipal corporation (hereinafter referred to as "City" ) , and <br /> BRADY AND ASSOCIATES, INC., a California corporation (hereinafter <br /> referred to as "Consultant"). <br /> <br /> W I TNE S S E TH: <br /> <br /> A. Consultant is qualified to provide, and experienced in <br /> providing planning services and has offered its services for the <br /> purposes specified in this Agreement. <br /> <br /> B. In the judgment of the City, it is necessary and <br />advisable to employ the services of Consultant for the purpose of <br />undertaking their planning services. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants, <br />agreements, and conditions contained herein, City and Consultant <br />agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Consultant ' s Services. Consultant shall diligently <br />perform the services and furnish the reports, maps, and so forth <br />as hereinafter set forth: <br /> <br /> a. Consultant shall perform all work described in <br /> Exhibit "A", "Scope of Work," attached hereto and <br /> incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> b. Consultant shall meet with the technical staff of <br /> the City, other pertinent agencies, and/or <br /> landowners as necessary to complete the scope of <br /> work outlined in Section l(a) herein. <br /> <br /> 2. City Services. In order to assist Consultant in this <br />study, City shall provide title reports, any existing plans of the <br />area on file, and necessary direction within a reasonable time. <br /> <br /> 3. Staff. Project Manager for Consultant shall be <br />Shelley Poticha. Consultant shall confer with City and City shall <br />agree to a change prior to any change of Project Manager. <br /> <br /> 4. Sufficiency of Consultant ' s Work. Consultant agrees <br />that all maps, plans and specifications prepared for City shall be <br />to the standard of practice and care of the profession to meet the <br />purposes for which they are performed. <br /> <br /> - 1 - <br /> <br /> <br />
