CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-421 <br /> <br /> ARESOLUTION COMMENDING RUT~ADELINE <br /> KINDLE JENSEN ON HERRETIREMENT FROM THE <br /> CITY OF PI~ASANTON <br /> <br />WHEREAS, RUTH ADELINE KINDLE JENSEN has served the City of <br /> Pleasanton meritoriously for 23 years, initially as <br /> a meticulous stenographer clerk and later as a <br /> reliable and hardworking Senior Office Assistant; <br /> and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this delightful, helpful and conscientious employee <br /> has fulfilled her considerable duties with an <br /> efficient, effective and effortless manner; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, her associate workers hold the highest respect for <br /> Ruth's dedication to her responsibilities and to <br /> her loyalty to the City and its family of <br /> employees; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The Pleasanton City Council proudly commends. RUTH <br /> JENSEN on her retirement for 23 years of <br /> outstanding service to the City and recognizes that <br /> she has demonstrated a most remarkable level of <br /> work performance during a period of unprecedented <br /> growth and, furthermore, Council dutifully <br /> acknowledges that a person of her high repute is a <br /> rare honor for our community and its r~sidents. <br /> <br />Section 2: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON, AT A MEETING HELD ON OCTOBER 3, 1989 BY THE <br />FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Deputy City Clerk <br />APPROVED AS ~~ <br /> <br />Michael H.
