CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-414 <br /> <br /> REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO <br /> CONSOLIDATED LANDSCAPE SERVICES INC., FOR <br /> THE CONSTRUCTION OF WEST LAS POSITAS <br /> MEDIAN LANDSCAPING, PROJECT NO. 897039 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City prepared plans and specifications for <br /> West Las Positas Median Landscaping, Project No. <br /> 897039; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 37900, et seq., <br /> the City Engineering Services Division advertised <br /> for bids regarding this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on <br /> October 3, 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bid of Consolidated Landscape Services Inc., in <br /> the amount of $88,208 was determined to be the <br /> lowest responsible bid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities <br /> recommended that the bid of Consolidated Landscape <br /> Services Inc. be accepted; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> $ <br /> <br />Section 1: The bid of Consolidated Landscape Services Inc., <br /> in the amount of $88,208, for the construction of <br /> West Las Positas Median Landscaping, Project No. <br /> 897039, is hereby accepted by the City Council as <br /> the lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City Manager is authorized to execute a <br /> contract w~th Consolidated Landscape Services Inc. <br /> for the improvements specified above. <br /> <br />Section 3: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
