CONTRACT FOR CONSULTANT SERVICES <br /> <br /> REVIEW THE REDESIGN OF THE OPERATIONS SERVICE CENTER <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this 3rd day of <br />October 1989, by and between the CITY OF PLEASANTON, a municipal <br />corporation (hereinafter referred to as "City"), and CH2M HILL, a <br />California Corporation, (hereinafter referred to as <br />"Consultant" ) . <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> A. Consultant is qualified to provide, and experienced in <br />providing, engineering services and has offered its services for <br />the purposes specified in this Agreement. <br /> <br /> B. In the judgement of the City, it is necessary and <br />advisable to employ the services of Consultant for the purpose of <br />undertaking their engineering services. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants, <br />agreements and conditions contained herein, City and Consultant <br />agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Consultant's Services. Consultant shall diligently <br />perform the services and furnish the materials, reports, maps, and <br />so forth as hereinafter set forth: <br /> <br /> a. Consultant shall perform all work described in <br /> Exhibit "A", Scope of Work, attached hereto and <br /> incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br /> b. Consultant shall meet with the technical staff of <br /> the City, other pertinent agencies, and/or <br /> landowners as necessary to complete the scope of <br /> work outlined in Section l(a) herein. <br /> <br /> 2. City Services. In order to assist Consultant in this <br />study, City shall provide title reports, any existing plans of the <br />area on file, necessary direction and plan checking within a <br />reasonable time. <br /> <br /> 3. Staff. Key staff provided by Consultant shall be <br />acceptable to City. <br /> <br /> 4. Ownership of Work. All maps, designs, reports, work <br />data, and all other documents completed or partially completed by <br />Consultant in the performance of this Agreement shall become the <br />property of City. <br /> <br /> <br />
