CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-408 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT FOR <br /> CONSULTANT SERVICES WITH ~I~XANDER & <br /> ASSOCIATES, INC. FORT HE DESIGN OF THE <br /> VAI~Y AVENUE SOUNDW~I.I., CIP NO. 895053 <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The City Council approves the contract between <br /> the City of Pleasanton and Alexander & Associates, <br /> Inc., regarding the design of the Valley Avenue <br /> Soundwall, a copy of which is attached hereto and <br /> incorporated herein by this reference. <br /> <br />Section 2: Authorizes the City Manager to execute the above- <br /> described contract. <br /> <br />Section 3: Authorizes the allocation of $135,000 from the <br /> General Fund for this project. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING WAS DULY AND <br />REGULARLY ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PLEASANTON, AT A MEETING HELD ON SEPTEMBER 19, 1989 BY THE <br />FOLLOWING VOTE: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and <br /> Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br /> Pe~g~.UE~idroJ <br /> Deputy City Clerk <br /> <br />Michael H.
