CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 89-399 <br /> <br /> REVIEW OF BIDS AND AWARD OF CONTRACT TO <br /> C & G CONTRACTORS, INC. FOR SLIDE REPAIR <br /> SOUT~ OF LONGVIEW DRIVE, PROJECT NO. <br /> 895054 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City prepared plans and specifications for <br /> Slide Repair South of Longview Drive, Project <br /> No. 895054; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 37900, et seq., <br /> the City Engineering Services Division advertised <br /> for bids regarding this project; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, bids were reviewed by the City Council on <br /> September 19, 1989; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the bid of C & G Contractors, in the amount of <br /> $29,490 was determined to be the lowest responsible <br /> bid; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works and Utilities <br /> recommended that the bid of C & G Contractors, Inc. <br /> be accepted; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1: The bid of C & G Contractors, Inc., in the amount <br /> of $29,490, for Slide Repair South of Longview <br /> Drive, Project No. 895054, is hereby accepted by <br /> the City Council as the lowest responsible bid. <br /> <br />Section 2: The City Manager is authorized to execute a <br /> contract with C & G Contractors, Inc. for the <br /> improvements specified above. <br /> <br />Section 3: Authorizes the transfer of $40,000 from the <br /> General Fund to this project. <br /> <br />Section 4: This resolution shall become effective <br /> immediately upon its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
